i really like the quirky images that result from the diana camera. these are a few of my first shots, which was a test roll of sorts. and i was able to scan the prints directly on my HP scanner – i think the results are pretty decent (and it’s less expensive than buying an epson or having the lab scan my negatives, at least for now). in the next few weeks, i will have more film shots to share….it’s a ton of fun to shoot with this toy camera.  see others’ diana pics at the flickr group here.

some photography links today:
++ the WE projects (‘the ones we love’ and ‘where we’re from’)
++ i’ve shared this website before, but grass doe continues to take the most stunning images. i just can’t stop looking at them.  here are 3 i especially like right now: one, two, and three.  these pics make me want to leave the city and get lost in the woods with my camera.  maybe i’ll do that one day this weekend.

how proud are you to be an american today?  yesterday was amazing.  have a good one.

i really like what you’ve done with your diana. i particularly like the shot with the pigeons. don’t know why, but it reminds me of a paris rooftop…

Love the pigeons, and the christmas tree corpse in the bright sun. JANUARY, am I right?

They turned out well! It looks like it was worth the wait. It’s nice to see those glimpses of blue sky, too.
