we saw andrew bird last night – that guy is something else. so good.
(and a HUGE thanks to jill, who found out where we were sitting, and put us in much better seats in one of their tier boxes. as you can see, our view was unreal. a great surprise!)

Wow — great photo. I was going to say that I saw him when he opened for Wilco, but then remembered that I ran into you at that concert, so you ALSO saw him when he opened for Wilco.
aaand, i am going to see jeff tweedy on fri night – the circle is unbroken…
i can’t believe how big he’s gotten. I’m pretty proud of him since he’s an genuinely talented. I first saw him open for The Magnetic Fields here in Chi, and Andrew was just in the lobby being ignored by everyone, blending right in. I doubt that would happen today haha.
