pentax love no. 2
i’m sharing more pentax shots today. another thing i like about them: that soft blue of the sky on film.
+ jen has an interview up with peter frank edwards, a favorite photographer that i mentioned around here a couple of weeks ago. definitely check it out! really inspiring stuff.
+ and another photographer whose work has been on my mind lately: david wright (via shari).
+ a food-related link for you today: how i spent 3 days gorging in ann arbor (thanks, grant). a place that occupies a special place in my heart, this article about the best eats in ann arbor had me ready to book a flight just for another grits n’ bits waffle or french vietnamese au lait at sweetwater’s. sigh.
have a great day!

the subtle sunshine is gorgeous in so many of these.
your deck looks good on fiml :)

That shot of the sky is amazing!! Oh and the popovers too, of course – where are they from?
i’m in love with the third shot!

Brian, I’ve not been around enough to say this to you so let me say it with emphasis: you are AWESOME.

also love the light through the jar of beer(?).
and the reflections in the windows of those last-shot houses.

Wonderful!
Sigh. Love them all! I better hurry up and take some more so I can get my first color roll developed. Can’t wait!
…my eye and stomach stopped at the Whole Grain Cheddar popovers…yummy!
Loving the lines with the ball jar, loving the popover shot, loving all this goodness.
Love your deck photos, especially with the jar. The clouds were amazing here today too.

Its not kissimmee, silly! Though, there are people who live in kissimmee, too.
Can you believe I have been living in Chicago for about 5 years now and still haven’t crossed the border into Michigan? I need to remedy this.
Oh, and yes! ..thus begins the glorious love affair with film. Good stuff, Brian!
Wow. I’ve just really enjoyed these so very much! There is a certain sumpin’ about them, a quality … sweetness and light? I don’t know but thank you!
