friday! you always seem to arrive just when i need you. thanks.
this week has been a whirlwind, so i’m looking forward to spending lots of time relaxing with friends this weekend. there are multiple birthdays to celebrate and a biergarten to visit.
next week, i’ll share with you a little project i’ve been working on.
and i can’t sign off for the week without a small mention of michael jackson. though he had his problems, i’d prefer to remember him like this (via lecia).
thank you for all of your nice comments this week – enjoy the weekend.

that was indeed a good write up, was glad to read it yesterday. last night was full of nostalgia, to be sure.
sounds like you have a great weekend planned, hope you have lots of sunshine!
can’t wait to see what you’ve been working on.
I am just thankful I saw him at his best as a kid. Dancing around to his music in my friend’s room. These are great shots of strangers.
that shot of the pool looks so inviting. happy friday brian.
oh that moonwalk. love these images together brian. enjoy that biergarten. tom keeps talking about wanting to visit the brooklyn beer halls. maybe next time?
love your shots brian. this is exactly what i crave and can’t get in kansas city. not enough people out and about. have a good weekend friend. any heat yet?
Your second image is my fave – from last weekend I’m guessing… the last image reminds me of a character on ‘Lost’, but probably only because I’ve been watching so many episodes via netflix trying to catch up.
Glad you liked that writeup, too. It kind of summarizes when and what he meant to me; being in middle school, everyone trying the moonwalk….
that article lecia posted was really amazing. especially the video. i’m glad it touched you, too. at my work there were so many mixed reactions when the words started spreading. i too prefer to remember him in that thriller/billy jean stage. have a wonderful weekend, brian!
that is a wonderful article, thanks for sharing. you’ve just got to love the moonwalk!
enjoy a fun filled weekend!
Such great images!
Have a lovely weekend!
Great pics as usual, Bri. I especially like the feeling I get from the second capture: being nestled in a relaxing, casual (yet bustling) outdoor weekend event in Brooklyn amongst the trees and old buildings/bridges, with the skyline shooting up off in the distance, like some celestially backlit tapestry on a wall not of this time or place.
Also, I knew I had “the glove” when I was younger, but until I watched that video I forgot I had the matching socks! Thanks for the link.
Oh my goodness, thank you for that MJ link – that video had me in goosebumps. Amazing!
I never ever post but this time I will,Thanks alot for the great blog.
