summer finally came to new york this weekend, and it was amazing … hot sticky sun, ice cream, cold beers outside, french fries, sour cherries at the market, time to put a fan in the window, birthday cake, yankees vs. mets, a little sunburn, a quick storm followed by orange clouds and a rainbow and many laughs with good friends.

Yes, please to that weekend. I had everything except cherries and baseball. But I had ferry ride and buddhist monks, so it’s a draw. Right?
it’s baking in london as well. which is weird because we don’t normally do summer so i have a deep mistrust of the weather man when he says it will reach 38 degrees this week… how can that be? also, yes, your weekend sounds perfect in every way.
we had one day of sticky but we’re back to rain. i’m hoping that’s not the case for you. wonderful, summery photographs. i really like the balloons.

Yes! It all sounds fantastic. We celebrated summer heat by drinking lemon verbena mojitos and Pimm’s Cups.

Lovely pictures again, so nice and summery! Summer is here in tokyo also, but oh tokyo’s summer is not so easy, definately need a lot of cold beer and ice cream!
