it was so nice to get away this weekend, to spend time near the ocean and napping by a pool, to enjoy the blue hour with friends on a deck, to see the moon and the lights reflected in the water, to laugh heartily and to spend a few hours lost in a book. there is a lot to tackle this week, and some time away was exactly what i needed.
(and thank you, everyone, for the unbelievably kind comments you left here and over at ‘this joy + ride‘. you put a huge smile on my face.)
