the past few months, i have been obsessed with all things green – especially film photos taken in the woods or outdoors. you can see a reflection of this in the photos i’ve been posting around here lately, but today i looked at my favorites and thought … “brian, you really are obsessed.” so i’m sharing some of my current faves with you. these all have a september feel to me … the trees haven’t changed color yet, and everything is still green … but the evenings are chilly and it’s time to pack a sweater.
and it’s about time for some new tunes to usher in september, don’t you think?

there is absolutely nothing wrong with being obsessed with green. i can’t wait to go home and listen this list. i plan to be barefoot, will that work? i think you and my brother are on the same musical track. he just saw the avett brothers a couple weeks ago in kc and can’t stop talking about it.
