………………….

one of the best things about getting ready to move across the pond is the loads of fun i’ve been having with friends (both new and old) before i leave. the photos above were taken on a sunday afternoon in boston, when i was visiting for my brother’s engagement party.  it was one of those days in october where you almost can’t believe how perfect the weather is. after celebrating with my family the night before, i spent the day with good friends — people that have known me for a long time.   it was such a memorable day.

and speaking of good times with good friends, meg and i have collaborated again at THE HUNGRY ROACH. check it out!  i agree 100% with meg’s review … tipsy parson was delicious, and they had only been open for 2 nights! quite impressive.  if you’re in NYC, you should visit.

i’ll have more good stuff to share soon. i hope your day is nice.

(oh and also: LET’S GO YANKS!)

Sigh, I used to live in Beacon Hill…thanks for the memories of so many perfect fall days. I love the pictue of the leaves in the water-it’s as though they all fell off the tree at exactly the same time.

Oh yes! Every time I go home I spend the best time with my friends. And I have to remind myself that it wouldn’t be like that if I stayed… I’d be less special! Enjoy this time with them. Your images are wistful and lovely.
