sunday roast
January 18, 2010

sunday roast is one of my favorite british traditions … sitting down with friends or family for a long afternoon meal on sundays, full of good food, drinks and conversation. yesterday, we got together with new and old friends and had a great afternoon meal in marylebone … there was ginger pig pork and crackling, mulled wine, pints and many laughs.
i had a wonderful weekend – hope to share more photos here soon. in the meantime, i hope your weekend was a good one, too.

I have always loved spending sundays with loved ones. It somehow makes every week feel like it is beginning with a party.

This sounds very romantic…I also have memories of roasted chicken sundays when I lived in Oxford!

My favorite thing to do when visiting friends in London is to have Sunday roast. There’s something so special about the tradition.
