it included an early wake-up, doing some dishes, pancake making, bright sunshine, a chance to wear my new shades from albam, and record shopping (!! … i found a turntable, oh yes i did). that elvis costello record in the last photo above is one of my all-time favorite album covers … i was so happy to find it this morning.

I recently got a turntable too and suddenly shopping for music felt special again. I don’t know whether it’s nostalgia or the inherent qualities of LP albums but flipping through the covers and the faint smell of vinyl just makes me so happy.
