split the sky
April 29, 2010

. . . . .
lots going on behind the scenes around here, but i wanted to stop by this morning to share some photos and other bits.
2 things i’ve read recently that made me think:
+ milton glaser, 10 things i have learned
+ thoughts on art collecting from jen bekman (i love what she says about closing the gap between living with art, and seeing art in museums)
and some short visual inspiration (‘eating a doughnut’ is my favorite), check out these videos on the st. john website (click on the titles underneath the first video screen). if you recognize the background in the video, that’s because they filmed these at rochelle school canteen!
enjoy your day.

hysterical, ‘disciplining a little gem’ and ‘trifle’ are my favorites!
Got any cabbage?
Ha- but seriously. Great links this morning, Brian.
Milton Glaser… what a great find. Thanks for sharing Brian!
these are amazing photos…the colors of the sky are beyond words.
Both of those links made me think too and made a great start to my morning. Thanks!
Is it wrong to say that my first impulse was that these photos have a 9/11 quality. It makes me sad that that was my first thought. Beautiful light as usual, though…
