a fine weekend

like any good weekend, this past one included lots of good food shared with good people. the bonus was that we were able to eat outdoors. the highlights were lunch in the back garden at violet with winnie and dinner in a garden in north london on saturday night with some new friends (where we ate perfect asparagus dipped into thick homemade mayonnaise … mmmm).
i also had plenty of chances to pull on a pair of shorts this weekend. i really, really like london when the weather is this nice.

I didn’t realise that violet had opened a shop. If I hadn’t just made picnic plans for Saturday I would be heading straight there…
eating al fresco with friends – it doesn’t get much better than that, does it? wonderful.

I found the fourth photo down on tumblr and just had to track it back to its original source. This looks like such a fun day.. makes me wish for summer!
