some photos out and about in london with the gang.
i still have my feet firmly planted in summer …. although the weather of late and many of the brits around me seem to be eager to rush into autumn. well, i think that’s crazy and i refuse to accept it.
but even so, i did enjoy these photos of the autumn/winter looks for albam. some good stuff coming up.
instead, let’s gaze at VINALHAVEN from ty williams and just enjoy august and the summer, okay? autumn and the dreary winter in the UK can wait.
. . . . . . . . . .
i’ll be on vacation for a couple of weeks soon, and so will this blog. it’s time for a break to refuel the engines, as it were. i think i’ll share one more post later today or tomorrow, and then i have a few flickr favorites to share before i take off. i’ll see you soon.
i love these. vacation sounds so good, but it will be tough without updates here :)
beautiful photos, looks like you have fun in London, all the good things – food, exploring and pubs! Have a good holiday
hello my bone marrow!
great shots ferry. good times.
It’s all about food and drinks when haning out with friends, isn’t it? I love it! Seems like you had a grand time.
August is autumn in the UK though…summer seems to end in July (or at least it has for the last few years). But then there’s lots to look forward to in September: trees, squash, new clothes…oh, and knowing you’re a fan, a new fat Nigel Slater cook book. I’ve seen it; it’s very very good.
all so beautiful. love the shot with the wine spillage! yay for vacation.
Happy holidays! :)
Looks you guys had a great time!
your colors are unbelievable, especially on the cake & coffee photos
love all these shots, glad to see you’re having such great times :)
and i agree with jen, totally love the spill shot.
hope you have a wonderful vacation.
i don’t think marrow has ever looked so good. you always make me surprise myself, brian. such great fun!
Hi Brian, everything looks really good here! I’m revisiting London this month and am sure to check out some of the places you blog about. Great pics! :)
good stuff, digging those green quoddys(?)
look like quoddy blucher’s didnt know you could get them in green though. they look amazing with the brick camp sole. WANT
what beautiful pictures to day Brian! Have a good blog holiday, already looking forward to your return.
I totally need to wear a watch now.
P.S. – these are lovely and I hope you have a wonderful break.
oh my god where were you?
i’m from nz and still finding my way around all the good london food (and coffee) spots. even after 2.5 years i am still discovering london’s secret and most fabulous not-on-the-high-street places.
i am in love with the place that served you espresso in a white demitasse with a green saucer and the place with white tiles and blackboard menus.
take pity on me please and share with me your hangouts.
and if the gang is considering new members, i’m totally available ;)
oh yes, and enjoy your holiday. i just *know* there will be beautiful photographs aplenty when you return
i like the wine stain, it looks like watercolor. have a good vacation!
have a wonderful, relaxing trip full of wonderful food and friends. the time off is well-deserved. cheers!
Seeing your photos always reminds me of the joys of playing with depth of field. Always inspiring.
You have such a great eye! Loving all of your pictures like crazy.
Just wondering, what kind of camera do you have?
