GREENS

. . . . . . . . . . .
last night, i went to a book release party at Albam for FACTORIES, a new book of photographs by john spinks. it’s a beautiful book, comprised of stunning photos of the spaces, people, materials and machines at the UK factories that Albam uses to produce its clothing.
you can see a selection of the photographs used in the book at john spinks’ portfolio site here.
(the book is on sale at all 3 Albam locations, so pick up a copy if you’re in london. and i think it will be on their website for mail order soon.)
. . . . . .
so much photographic inspiration lately … it’s been fun sharing these art books with you here this week. and speaking of good art books, next week i am excited to talk about BROOKLYN DIARY, which is released on tuesday. i’ll tell you about my section, show you some photos and share some of my outtakes.
have a brilliant weekend.

great green collection, brian! really like this quite a lot-soothing to my eyes when i’ve been typing and working for far too long :)
Oh, I adore these, especially the second. So beautiful.
keep uploading this in flickr. i want to heart so many of them!! :)
I love all these photos together. The light in the woods is just right! The second to last I like in particular, too.
I love these photos, especially the second to last one. And I’m excited about Brooklyn Diary! I pre-ordered my copy and I’m looking forward to hearing more about your contribution!
I love getting a bit of a photo inspiration kick every once in a while. Enjoy yours and please keep taking such beautiful pictures.
These are very beautiful, specially the one with the little pond/river.
Great photos. Albam has such terrific clothing.
these are gorgeous!
the third and fourth are beautiful especially
i love the light in these pictures and i ALSO love that you told us to have a “brilliant” weekend — you are so british, B!!!!!
you’re tempting me to go get lost in the woods. with a camera, of course.
talk of inspiration, YOU, my friend, are inspiring.
thanks for sharing, mate!
thank you for the beautiful photos. have been reading your blog for some time now and it’s always fantastic inspiration. i’m sorry i’m only just commenting now!
i particularly like the top one on this post, my idea of the perfect city alley/courtyard. would be so peaceful to come home to that every night.
happy monday!
ha! i took the same picture (though admittedly, much more crooked)! http://www.flickr.com/photos/snorkelyvonne/4818955078/
