shot with Ilford XP2.
. . . . . . . . . . .
spending a lot of time looking at tim barber’s photographs, especially these portraits of NY creatives.
feeling quiet today. have a good one.
Like always, you eye (with Ilford as the asistant)creates amazing photos. loved especially the details of the 2nd photo.
I adore the first image. The lighting is delightful.
brian, please keep it up with the black and white.
i’ll admit that i’m usually not a fan of b&w shots, but your style makes them look classic.
really though – classic.
i love all of them. you are doing some great work with b&w november.
The rain on the window is lovely
Great images. Really like the grains in them. Great mood.
the raindrops!
second and third from the bottom. wow.
I love the pictures in the café-bar it looks like they are from a film noir..Your B&W pictures are really nice ^^
I’m loving that second shot! The triangles are like folded diamonds on the spine of that leaf…and I like the soft outline the plant’s own leaves create. Very cool shot.
Um, wonderful.
Oh, you have found your B&W groove, Brian. These rock — in the very best possible sense of the word. Keep ‘em coming.
Loving these. The big leafy silhouette….amaze.
I love these first two photos of leaves, especially the second one. I think that “leaf project” could be a fantastic idea!
Btw, your blog is really nice to follow :)
Hi there!
New to your blog and I absolutely love the photographs you take!
I was wondering if you could tell me the name and model of the camera you used for the pictures in this post.
Thanks!
Also, what type of lens did you use?
