sometimes you have to do it on a whim. load up the holga with 12 shots of film, grab your coat and a hat, and get out there for a late afternoon walk. not think too much about it, just shoot some photos and have some fun. because otherwise, you might’ve missed the part where the sun came out from behind the thick grey clouds that cover london in january. and you wouldn’t have enjoyed that little bit of light before the sun set at 4:15pm.

winter can be tough, the days don’t seem much longer. but it’s good to get out there and walk around.
