. . . . . . . . . . . . .
recently:
+ breakfasts: waiting for my toast, ricotta & peach jam (from la fromagerie), quinoa muffins (for energy)
+ stopping to photograph the world’s most beautiful head of lettuce (from leila’s shop)
+ early spring in the hood
+ 4 conway st (i don’t know why i love this one but i do)
+ sunday afternoon beers (my favorite kind of beers) with echo
+ night falls on london
2 new musical discoveries that i can’t stop listening to:
1. ’not even in july’ by JBM (via jason) – this one will break your heart
2. ‘tall hours in the glowstream’ by cotton jones – this one will pick you up
(and if you have 5 minutes, you should really watch this JBM music video for “in a different time” – it’s absolutely stunning)
have a good day.
great set of photos – that lettuce is AMAZING.
i went right to the 4 conway st photo too, brian.
thanks so much for the JBM link. just what i want to listen to this morning.
take care.

There’s a lot to like here mate…bravo.
damn. these are good.
Great set – love the first signs of spring and the flowers!
Quinoa muffins sound interesting, tell me more!!
Have a lovely day, Kristina
I’ve been enjoying following along on your pictoral journey, and had to comment today. I LOVE ricotta w/peach jam, and those beer glasses are my favorite! I, too, used to live in Brooklyn, and now I’m in Maine, getting much more writing done than I could in the city. However, you’re really tickling my wanderlust with your photos, and I wonder if I’ll set up residence at some point in London – you make it seem such an amazing place to live! Thanks….
I love that warm light in the windows. That ricotta and jam snack looks delicious too. : ) I enjoy your photography each time you post….just saying thank you for sharing.
Mhm, I love your pictures and that food just got me mouth watering.
That song is so good! And so the video!
Hugs.
PS. I want a lettuce like that too. Must be delicious.
Never mind the photos, I want your music collection! I am always discovering new music via your blog. The National, Josh Ritter and now, JBM. Thanks!
oh, i enjoyed this entry so much. pictures of good good food (i’m so inspired for tomorrow’s breakfast now) and spring branches. aah
Just stumbled across your blog and must say, your photos were the perfect thing to glance through on this rainy San Francisco day. Looking forward to reading/viewing more.
mmmmm. i think toast is my very favorite food:)
good to see you’re staying true to koeze peanut butter!
I absolutely adore your blog and your photography is amazing.
Is there a reason I’ve never put ricotta on toast with jam? I feel as though I’ve been living a half-lived life for 30 years…
wow! early spring! there is no green yet over here.
because of your pics, now i need to buy some ricotta (i am totally fan)
and i also need to buy some beer!!
oh my god. SPRING. you guys are lucky there!
marija, this might be the first time i’ve heard someone is jealous of the weather in england.
Love these ~
Spring is surely on its way!
these are so nice and uplifting.
i can’t wait for spring in japan.
Nice pics…now I feel like eating breakfast, and it’s 10pm here in Canada, not fair.
:)
What the heck kinda lettuce is that?? I’ve seen a lot of lettuces in my day, but that might be the best. I wanna tell my farmer parents so they can grow it!
That IS a beautiful head of lettuce. I’m strangely jealous of your breakfast photos. I wish my mornings weren’t so rushed!
i so love your photos!
