. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
oh boy. the weather this weekend was incredible. mind-blowing, even. the sort of weather that doesn’t come to london all that often.
even better, my good friends christophe & gemma were visiting from up the road. we were working on a project together (i’ll share more on this in the coming months), but we made the time to enjoy some good food & drinks and all of that sunshine.
there’s really nothing finer than that first weekend in the spring with the windows thrown open, shoes without socks, short sleeves, the sun on your face. it makes the busy week ahead seem not-so-bad.

it seems like the sun was shining everywhere this weekend. These are beautiful – love the photo with the radishes!
These are awesomely great Brian. Thank you for reminding me that I have almost the same shoes as your friend Gemma, I just have to find the box in my closet.
Such a great mood on these, I think it is one of my favourite posts of yours.
what a roll of film. beautiful! we had that kind of weather this weekend, too and i know just what you mean.
love Gemma’s shoes :)
Near perfect sounds about right…brilliant weekend mate, more soon please!
wasn’t it amazing. such a gift.
it called for much frisbee in the park with an eight year old (i’m now exhausted!).
i know right! in sweden we had incredible weather too. just this afternoon i was down at the lake with my sister, wearing only a tank top and skirt. sitting in the sun for hours is such a treat.
this looks pretty perfect to me! really really wonderful photos! i love the first one especially.
that last photo. . .it’s just spectacular. i love it.
Wish I’d been there! Miss you three.
Those radishes + striped shirt! I think I’m in love!
what a series.
weather has been glorious here, too.
Love this series of photos!
rest of the week doesn’t look so good, but it was nice while it lasted! the fact that we don’t have it that often makes it that much more special!
that projects sounds really exciting, even though i know nothing about it yet, but i’m sure it is :D
what a great series of pictures Brian..so inspiring..can’t wait to here on what project you are working..
It is Autumn here in Sydney…how nice to see how everything is blossoming on the other side
I simply love spring weekends like this – and you captured such great moments.
Can’t wait to hear about your new project!
and here as well in Montana at around 5000 elevation….after blizzards and gray for weeks…..can’t wait to go barefoot in our soggy still mostly brown grasses…. love the photos
That first photo IS perfect! I love all of your shoes. Here in Australia we’re stepping into Autumn with the occasional hot day to remind us of summer, but there are some cool breezes surfacing and the smells of flowers emerging. It’s lovely. I’m sure your secret project is going to be incredible.
I love every single photo in this series, amazing.
I love that first and third picture. They both speak quite strongly of spring. I wish the weather here would hurry up and warm up (minus the humidity, please). The wind needs to go as well.
I’m glad you had such a lovely weekend. :)
so good, can’t wait for more short sleeve weather and more weekends like that.
Beautiful, cheerful. So glad you guys are enjoying the weather. Here in South Africa we had that kind of weather for many months now. Sometimes just to hot! Thats when we spend our days on the beautiful beaches of S.A. Waiting for the rain and winter which I love here in the Western Cape area(close to Cape Town.) : )
Do you mind sharing what lens you used for these photos? Esp #1 and #6 (radishes and beer, respectively). These are beautiful!
I cannot believe those flowers! They’re incredible.
It all looks really lovely.
it was ravishing yes- all plans were cancelled in favour of Columbia Road and then basking in the sun on London fields and on to pub on the park for some cheeky Pimms
Such beautiful photos and a lovely post. It is so important to relish the little things, these moments that make memories and are the essence of what it means to live.
