other people’s houses

. . . . . . . . . . . . . .
hi.
a quick post this evening to share some exciting news.
do you remember The 1010 Project? well, Vic has gotten all 10 photographers together again, and this time she’s organized a group exhibition here in london … i’m really pleased to be a part of it. it’s called other people’s houses: a photographic exploration of the places we choose to live.
from the website:
“We live in other people’s houses. Some of us in homes, cities and countries distant from where we were born. Others live close, safe in the comfort of places we know.
What do our homes say about us?
In this revealing group show, participants of last year’s 1010 project reunite to explore feelings of displacement, intimacy and voyeurism through photographs of the places they choose to live.“

other people’s houses will be exhibited at the CAMP in london from may 5 – may 18. the opening night party will be on thursday, may 5 from 6pm. i’ll be there, along with vic and a few of the other photographers who will be in town for the opening. it’ll be a fun night and all of the photographs on display will be for sale. if you’re in london, i hope you’ll stop by to see the photos and say hello.
i’ll tell you more about my contribution soon. and once the show has ended, all of the photographs will be available to view online.
It sounds like another great project. I am looking forward to it!
