we escaped a wet, cold & miserable sunday afternoon with an impromptu stop at the st. john hotel for coffee and then cocktails, which turned into a late night dinner (& more cocktails) & dessert. take that, june gloom.

I was just looking June Gloom up on wikipedia to see what caused it in SoCal, and my favorite thing ever is that it says “Sometimes the cloudiness continues into July, a condition known as ‘Summer Bummer’.” Amazing.
yes, it’s definitely a spot which once you arrive at, you find it hard to leave :)
