my many coffees at prufrock coffee in london.
. . . . . . . . . . .
i’m so proud to be a part of the new publication, KINFOLK MAGAZINE. issue 1 has launched and it’s now available to view online! check it out … i think it’s incredible.
i contributed some words and photos about one of my favorite coffee shops in london, as well as a photo of asparagus later in the issue. the pictures above are all outtakes.
i’m honored to be included with so many people whose work i admire and respect, and the entire editorial team, including my friend nate, are superstars. since they first contacted me a few months ago, i’ve been continuously impressed by their professionalism, their vision, and their creativity. it’s been a pleasure and i’m already looking forward to working on issue 2.
i hope you enjoy it – perfect weekend reading, i think.
wonderful photos and congratulations
I just took a first pass through the online issue – such gorgeous stuff! Can’t wait to spend some more time with it.
so lovely.
savoring it for the weekend.
Was so impressed with Kinfolk I even ordered a hard copy online. I’m old school…love the feel and smell of paper in my hand. Don’t own a Kindle. Everything about the look and tone of this magazine is right up my street. You are absolutely right…superstars…all…including you, Brooklyn boy.
beauty…
Those four pictures put a smile on my face on a Friday morning of a particularly shitty week. So thank you.
I love the bright blue of the cappuccino mug, especially in the last picture when you can just taste the last drop.
Congrats on being apart of Kinfolk! It’s an amazing new venture.
Congrats….I saw the online edition today. Beautiful stuff!
Congratulations! I have to admit that I always enjoy seeing your sunglasses in photos here — I admired them when they were sitting on the table at Towpath and focused on them when I took a picture.
the magazine is really impressive. congrats to everyone involved! it’s truly beautiful.
Beautiful and just in time for the weekend – thanks for sharing.
gorgeous mag. good job!
Really loved your piece, Brian! The greens in the coffee shop are incredible. Always enjoying reading your words, too.
I see that Kinfolk is a limited edition and already sold out. Dommage.
the print edition is sold out, as it was only a limited edition run. but not to worry, the full magazine is available online! enjoy.
your photos are fantastic! kinfolk is fantastic! great work!
Mr. Ferry, I think that you are a superstar. Congratulations.
I’m such a fan of your work Brian – seeing your pictures and words in Kinfolk has been a treat. Can’t wait to see what you create next.
all the best,
saer
congrats, b. kinfolk is amazing.
it inspires me too. the words, photos and eyes to immerse into those things.
very inspiring indeed. hoping the print run will be bigger for the second issue, nothing beats the smell and look of print on paper.
am really impressed with the different sections of the magazine, particularly with the decision to include those moments for just one(self) – too often overlooked!
wonderful photos, and the magazine is wonderful too! thanks for sharing.
I would have bought a copy but two things stopped me. A) The $39 bucks tag, and the fact that it was sold out!
Well done you anyway, Brian I love your blog, music mixes and photography.
Keep up the great work!

this magazine seems to be conceptually perfect.
saw the online version, very nice! and i guess i just really really like every photo you click :)
awsome, beautiful, thank you.
congrats brian.
very cool.
I’ve been reading your blog a long time, I’m a huge fan. So when you mentioned kinsfolk, I went straight away to check it out (plus another blog I love recommended it also). How amazing then to read your piece which mentions an old friend of mine, Jeremy Challander. I’m in australia and we spent much of our twenties hanging out. He’s also married to an old family friend of mine (well, Rossie’s not old but we’ve known each other since day dot). If you still visit Prufrock, please tell Jeremy that Francesca from Australia says hello. He’ll know exactly who you mean. He’s a great soul, is Jem.
I loved your piece by the way. And your photographs continue to bring a touch of beauty to my morning routine, thank you.
