. . . . . .
Out and about with my cameras over the past couple of months. Trying to see Brooklyn with fresh eyes.
Great snippets of the city and life in Brooklyn.
Definitely one of my favorite places to shoot. The 3rd picture is my favorite.
I’ve never been to Brooklyn. It’s nice to get a look at the city from your perspective.
God Brooklyn is such a cool place to live ! I’ll quit Paris for sure if I could :)
nice photos and HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR :)
so nice, brian. and that fireplace…i hope it’s yours!
lovely! do you find it’s different now taking photos in brooklyn after having been away a while?
can’t help but notice that these colors in these photos are the brightest i’ve seen from you in a very long time! i think that is a good sign :)
Hey Brian, cheers for a wee bit of colour on an otherwise dark Edinburgh day…
Love these Brian. x
great!
love these, brian.
The painterly qualities of the 4th one down are sumptuous. A la Richter, I presume? Wonderful.
Ah YES !
I love this. Welcome to the neighborhood! After viewing your photographs of London for so long, it’s so interesting to suddenly see my familiar haunts featured on your blog. Hope you’re enjoying BK; it’s the very best.
Love that fireplace!
so nice to see some of my favorite neighborhood places… thanks for sharing!
love the two pictures of the buildings looking straight up. feels like I’m there.
I just wasted two very pleasant hours on this blog, and I’m glad I did!
Superb and inspirational.
these are so great! i love that all the pictures are of simple, everyday things, not overly posed or anything. great job!
I especially like when you’re showing details of architecture, like on 3th,5th and 6th pictures.
3th from the end is pretty awesome too!
Loving the first shot especially.
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.
Every one of these photos is sublime. I miss living in Brooklyn… oh, summers! :) Amazing. And I love the wood floors of that apartment! Oh la!
may I adventure a “I reckon you’re succeeding” even if I don’t know you or your relationship with bk at all? ;)
a wonderful set of photos. Thanks!
Hi. I haven’t been to visit here for a while, and it is great(!) to see how your photos are different in Brooklyn. A distinctly American flavor. I suppose it’s all in the light, but there is something both simpler and more garish about these. Both the flower/window ones just blow my mind, and feel so much like old Bill Eggleston. Do you ever think of selling prints?
Lovely! I was in Prospect Park last week but I didn’t have a camera on me. It was pretty quiet and calm. Nobody was there because it was so cold and the pond was semi-frozen. There were ducks, geese and swans skating on the pond, it was really cute.
it’s great to see brooklyn again :) beautiful photos brian!
Fresh eyes indeed. Buildings and skies look gorgeous. Love the golden one.
