I exclusively used Tri-X 400 in college but I need to revisit it after seeing these. The texture and tones in that first photo are amazing. Also, thank you for the link to that post about film vs digital in your previous post. I was just having this same struggle with an upcoming shoot and I realized how stupid it is to worry about something terrible happening to my film when something could just as easily happen to my memory card on my digital camera! I know how to shoot film and prefer it, so why do I worry so much?
ah! love black and white! that’s also my film of choice for b/w. awesome photos!
so simple… loved it!
Tri-X is my favorite film. I especially love the one of the squash and onions.

I love that photo of a notebook opened and a guy-in-a-bus photo printed sitting next to each other calmly and orderly
I love these! The contrast of the different wood grains, the lines created by the light. Beautiful. Makes me want to shoot some black and white!
