When I was in L.A., I spent a lot of time driving (unsurprisingly).
One hot & sunny day, I drove the length of Mulholland Drive, just to see it. I listened to a remix of Arthur Russell’s “This Is How We Walk On the Moon” on repeat.
When I hear the song this morning in Brooklyn, I think of Los Angeles.
(Thanks for the CD and for the tip, David).

I am so in love with your multiple versions of white, the textures and tints you manage to find there and still: white. Very brilliant.
Love how music triggers memories, love feeling of dusk, D x
The first photo is SUPERB!
The light in these photos is the light of ending things. Love it.
Can’t stop listening to the song. Suits perfectly to the pictures and the suprising sunshine in London.
that last one: i feel like its your best shadow find yet. hole to……….where?
Man, LA might not do great sunsets, but it really knows how to do shadows. Beautiful.
Want to go walking on your moon in this light! Before, it was always cruising Mulholland Drive with REM . . . .
The last one is my favourite, beautifully captured..
