. . . . .
Almost 2 months ago now, my friend Amy Merrick had just moved into her new studio in Greenpoint and I stopped by to have a look. What a space, eh? We walked to EAT for lunch and talked about work and life.
(Amy doesn’t know it yet, but I’m going to enlist her help choosing houseplants and plants for my shade-filled back garden. I’m hoping she might help to reverse my terrible luck with keeping plants alive…)
oh i like that floor!!
ps – those 2 work tables that you see above? Amy built those herself. She is a badass.
So impressed that Amy built her on tables! I follow Amy too, but it is lovely seeing her space through your eyes. lucky you to be surrounded by creative folks! D x
Damn! I can only IMAGINE all the crazy awesome shots Amy must be getting out from that studio… pls. DO SHARE :-)

wow. great studio! i strive to have a workplace like this someday.
“charming”
Yes, the floors! Gorgeous. It looks like an amazing space.
here’s a flower and garden lover who’s green with envy for this fabulous space!
(Amy doesn’t know it yet, …….) – she will NOW know soon enough!!!
lovely place and most lovely, lovely Amy – I visited her website and I’m blown away by her talent.
The light hitting those dark floors is stunning. Beautiful space and beautiful shots.
insanely beautiful photos. Flickr seems to be hosting them at a really poor quality though. doesn’t do your work justice.
I’ll make a green thumb out of you yet. Can’t wait to start digging. (And these photos are really nice. A good reminder of the beginning of the place.)
That fourth picture has something about it that I absolutely love. Just the greens scattered and the clippers casually there. Very free.
this looks like such a charming place with such a great view too!
LOVELY PICS:) I really like your blog and I want to follow..do you have twitter or FB??
