Screenshot from a few minutes ago: a very high-resolution negative scan, zoomed in at 100% so I can remove any dust spots in the scan – and I saw the above image. Process as inspiration. Sometimes the dull parts of photography can be exciting.

It reminds me of Michelangelo Antonioni. Don’t know if you know but he used to paint watercolors on a very very tiny piece of paper. And then, he was blowing them up to do a 2 meters long painting, creating a very atmospherical image. Your picture made me think of that.
