I agree with Marion above: the first one uses the portrait format so well, and reminds me of Aaron Siskin, the tar on the road series. BUT so many people riff on that- it looks like this photo captures something similar without speaking so directly to the road. The colors are classic too: stop, go, rusty materials. Nice going.
