Since winter will JUST. NOT. STOP. around here, I needed to post some photos from California in February. Avoidance tactic as I pull on my boots and venture into the miserable GD snow.

(Endless winters: Reason No. 87 to move west.)

It’s just as miserable here. Emigration to follow. These shots are stunning, B.

We went out to California in February as well before heading to Berlin for a little while; it’s brutally cold in Berlin right now, making Canada (where we usually live) seem temperate. Thanks for the reminder of the west coast sun and vibe.

los angeles had a long and very cold winter, it may not seem so to a visitor from the east coast, but for locals, it was pile on the blankets and sleepin in multiple sweatshirts with hoodie over head. i look at temperatures around the world and the horrific snowfalls that continue and yes, it is not as cold here, but remember our blood is thin and while nighttime 30’s are paradise to you, it was a freaking cold winter.

So lively and calm. Basking in the west sunshine would be great, especially now. Naturally drawn to it. Thanks for sharing, Brian!

yes. it’s been endless in PA as well. yesterday i played in the snow which is ridiculous considering the date…but i’m trying to be a glass half full kinda girl. love the warm light in these, it’s so real i can practically feel it.

I love these, in particular the trees – obvious question – have you thought of setting up some sort of image library? I think so many people would love these ‘large’
