………………………………………
i got this film back yesterday, and i wasn’t happy with some of it. however, some shots grew on me as i looked at them (especially the last 2 above). there is something about the diana camera that i like … i think it allows a level of experimentation that’s missing from my digital photography sometimes.  and the more i look at them, i think those 2 photos above are some of my new favorites.  (these were shot with fuji pro 400H film – i like the green/blue tones a lot)

+ have you seen the photographs of justin waldron? they are so, so good.
+ and i have had this song on heavy rotation this week. i love going back through albums on my ipod and listening to a favorite that i haven’t heard in a while (and i’ve got a serious crush on jenny lewis).

have a good one.

I like the feeling in these shots.

I listening to your March music mix yesterday, and I loved it. Especially the first song. It made me instantly super happy. Thanks so much for sharing!

Btw, do you know any Norwegian music? If not, I’m willing to share some of my favorites.

I know what you mean. Some shots I’ve taken, I put aside, only to go back later to them and find something new about them. I am trying Kodak 800 this time, but I see some Fuji in my future soon.

the cards kill me. i just shot a roll of portra 400nc yesterday in like five minutes. it felt good. i’m taking it in today. we shall see. but yes, like jen, i think revisiting your shots is really important so many things change over time, you’re bound to find something new.

Loving the cards shot – with the box in the corner. Pretty awesome. Oh the talent – I could go on and on!

hei astrid! i’d love to hear some of your favorite norwegian music (i don’t know it and i’m always looking for new stuff).

(and hello to sandra, jen and hannah, of course)

i love those cards…but i’ve told you that twice now i think. you are so right about film. i wish two things: 1)that vermont had more places to take film to be developed 2)that i wasn’t broke. film gets to be expensive especially when you are in search of the elusive shot. do you get prints made brian or do you get them on cd?
