the end of march
i’m always surprised by the light in march, with the time change, longer days and stronger sunlight. at first it is nearly imperceptible, but by the end of the month i certainly notice it each day.
i have a bunch of links to share today … ready?
+ head on over to the hungry roach today to see a collaboration with meg! (and thanks to youngna for the five leaves rec)
+ farewell helen levitt, 1913-2009.
+ a little over a week ago, i made THIS for dinner and it blew my mind. it’s simple, healthy, and absolutely delicious. it caught my attention because i had the full-blown version of pizzoccheri at l’artusi in the west village and loved it. seriously, make this tonight for dinner and you will be very happy.
+ schott’s vocab – a new blog from the nytimes (yes, it is mr. schott of schott’s miscellany)
+ there are a couple of great new albums released this week, which you can stream at spinner online. i’m especially excited about peter bjorn & john, great lake swimmers, and leonard cohen live in london.
+ if you live in new york and you want daily recession deals, bookmark the skint. brilliant stuff.
i’ll see you back here tomorrow – enjoy the day.
