hello, austin (part three)

April 8, 2009

i’m a bit sad that this is the last day to re-live austin with you here.  however, i took some film shots, so i hope to post a few of those next week.

a bunch of the photos above were taken at the wedding of two good friends (i like the polaroid version).  it was truly an unforgettable day (… and you can see the famous salt lick BBQ above, which we ate at the wedding).  congratulations to morgan & andrew, two of the best people i know.  i’m so glad i could be there.

as one friend said this weekend, wouldn’t it be nice if you could just gather up all of your friends and live in the same place?  why don’t we do that, he wondered?  i agree, that would be pretty nice.  especially if we all lived in austin.  but this trip was a pretty close second, i think.

have a good day!

If we were British, we all could just live in London!! The US is just too big! I wish that all the time… Think Im gonna be British in my next life.

This series is magical! You have truly captured the essence of Austin. I am ready to pack my suitcase, fill my music player with Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys, and set out on a road trip to Austin. Truly inspired!

WOW! I am super impressed by your amazing photog skills. Can you teach me how to do that? You completely capture the essence of Austin in your pictures–eclectic, cozy, good food and good friends. I echo your sentiment that I wish we all lived closer–and vote for a reunion soon.

Howdy! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering if
you knew where I could locate a captcha plugin for my comment form?
I’m using the same blog platform as yours and I’m having difficulty finding one?
    Thanks a lot!
