you know the old saying … “april showers bring may flowers.” seems like we’ll have the opposite around here this weekend. i quite like a bit of grey, fog, and rain. today, i’m choosing to see the beautiful side of rainy days.

    I wish I could put my finger on exactly what it is about your photos that touch me so…words escape me. They are really quite special, but then I’m sure you must know that. Thank you for them and the blog. I am always inspired when I visit this spot.

    you corralled the moodiness of early may beautifully in this mini collection of photographs. i am enjoying the way you offer your particular view of your particular world. i especially enjoy photos and references to michigan. i used to live there and work at zingerman’s so its a treat remember and revisit. thanks for documenting with such reverence.
