…………………

whenever i wish that i was sitting in the salt air and enjoying a fried fish sandwich, i head over to grand central oyster bar in grand central terminal. it’s one of the older (and more unique) spots in manhattan and i love it there. i sit at the lunch counter, which snakes around the room and is filled with businessmen in suits, reading the times and enjoying oyster pan roasts, as well as tourists staring in awe up at the vaulted tile ceilings. yesterday, i decided to take my camera along for lunch.

enjoy your day!

Really nice photos of one of my (old) favorite places in NY. Haven’t been there for years, but the day before my (first) wedding I sat at that counter, ate a bowl of clam chowder, slowly, and prepared myself for the onslaught of relatives. I was twenty-two. Yikes!
