…………………………..

good morning to you. sharing a few photos from an early supper yesterday evening before heading back to brooklyn on the train. i love sundays in the summertime … yesterday, i spent time enjoying the sun, did some reading, went for a walk through the woods, ate lunch in the shade, and came back to the city feeling refreshed.

i’m trying to get back into the swing of things today, so in the meantime, enjoy these photos of new york city coffee cups. how many of them have you tried?

These are such great shots. We kayaked and fished with the kids the whole weekend. It was seriously the best.

Sunday evenings used to make me sad, and a line from a mediocre movie (“Kate and Leopold”) put into words what I’d always thought about late Sundays…that they were poisoned by being next to Monday mornings, possibly the worst time of the week. No longer so, not since I retired. Sunday evenings are wonderful, particularly this time of year in this place…sitting on the back porch with sweet tea, lengthening shadows, the scent of honeysuckle, dogs yapping after birds trying to roost. Dreamy.

Oh, I absolutely love all of these photos. Unfortunately my weekend was not as nice as yours – full of group projects and finals. I am looking forward to summer Sundays.

As everyone else has said…such lovely photos!
    Love those fun paper lanterns.
I did some crafty stuff on Sunday to add to my Etsy shop sometime this week (and oddly enough I felt rather productive about it) and did a whole whack of errands I had been avoiding and were really not all that dire! :)
