some images taken with the diana.
……………………………

good morning to you.

well, it’s time to move on from sharing photos of our time at the beach. instead, i’m going to look forward to some new adventures in the next couple of months.

do you remember this photo? i recently stumbled upon photos from asako narahashi called “half awake and half asleep in the water“. i can’t believe how similar the images are! his work is stunning.

thanks for all of your nice comments recently. i hope you have a great day.

keep rocking that diana, brian! Makes me want to fiddle with mine a bit more. I haven’t quite given it the attention it deserves. these are all great.. i’m pretty smitten with them all.

I found your blog on alexandria’s (little postcards) list of links, and I’m glad I took the time to take a look-see. I’ll sound redundant after all the lovely comments about your photos, but they are gorgeous. Everytime I attempt to use my Holga or Diana the photos are pure rot. So they just collect dust now! I’ll just enjoy your photos instead. Great photos, food, and music…not quite Mr. Darcy, but rather interesting in your own right.

Love your last Cape Cod images. As for the similarities between your photo and the “half awake and half asleep in the water” ones, I don’t see it. Yours is tranquil and serene; the others scare the spit out of me…menacing kind of “oh, my God, I’m drowning” vibe. Can’t wait to see what the new project will be.

Your photos are inspiring. I love that one where the water is just brushing the land.
