well, i guess i have summer fruits on the brain – and who doesn’t? it is certainly reflected in my flickr favorites of late. i’m not ashamed to admit that i ate 3 ripe peaches the other day. and some blueberries. and maybe a plum.

and i have a music rec for your weekend. kitty daisy and lewis are 3 siblings from north london who have got me tapping my feet. they are quite talented (each of them plays multiple instruments) and they have a rockability vibe that i love.
since i first heard them yesterday (thanks to hannah), i’ve downloaded their newest album and listened to it almost 4 times. watch the video for “going up the country” (a perfect song for an august weekend), see them perform on late night with jimmy fallon and download the rest of their stuff … you won’t be disappointed.

have a great weekend!

Wild! Kitty, Daisy & Lewis were recommended to me yesterday ’cause they’ll be playing in Berlin while I’m there next week. So psyched to catch them and their name appears to be popping up everywhere today.

We just ate a ripe watermelon from our garden this morning…and I cannot resist the peaches and blue/black/raspberries at the farmer’s market~! Too delicious. And our neighbor gave us a bushel of pears from his tree. So delicate and tasty.

These summer fruits and tasty delights. Ah! Dear me. My anticipation of summer days grows and grows. Still, my winter is proving cosy and fruitful in other ways.
