……………….

how is it august 20th already??

i like the 3 images above grouped together. all of them were taken on different days, in brooklyn.

i’m thinking of getting a copy of this, “color dying light” by sam falls (i’ve mentioned him around here once before). his work is so interesting to me.

short and sweet today – i think the heat and humidity is wearing me down a bit.  i need a day out of the city, soon.

I love foliage, so maybe that’s it…so simple and beautiful. The humidity is quite wearing lately. I just want a big storm to come and wipe it all out!

If you’re roasting, you’d never know from today’s photos. Very soothing and cooling, the first one in particular. Also, I heard something on npr yesterday about folks in Brooklyn creating “swimming pools” from Dumpsters?!! Yes, I know everyone in Brookly doesn’t know everyone else, but have you heard of this? Seen this? I’m simultaneously grossed out but also wildly curious. Have I told you…you do such good work. Still can’t believe you’re a lawyer.

I like these photographs together too. Also, yesterday’s post was wonderful with the magazine shots and description of the book shop. Sweet way to spend the lunch hour indeed.

love them all – but particularly the first one with the wispy green leaves against the red brick wall. timeless.

I really like the last photo. Love how they go together, even though they were captured at different times.

I am also bemused by the fact that August seems near to end… I blinked and it is hello 23rd.
