elite chrome

January 11, 2010

that kodak elite chrome slide film sure does capture some nice blue tones, doesn’t it? i’m really into it.  more to come.

this weekend, i stayed warm by working on a stuffed cabbage recipe, eating spiced red lentil dal (this was so good), drinking lots of clipper tea, flipping through some great visual inspiration (i’ll show you more soon), and having a few pints with friends at a local pub.  hope you are keeping warm, too.

for some great visuals this morning, check out this video, the windmill club AW 2009 (i especially like it because it was filmed on my old street in brooklyn!)

I love the colors in these photos! And I also love it when you post the pics of London. Makes me miss living there…

And I am certainly trying out that dal–may have to post it on my blog.

Hummmm, my comment didn’t work, I’ll try it again:

In Brazilian Portuguese “tudo azul” (all is blue) means that a person is happy, not depressed.

I love these “tudo azul” pictures!

Hi Brian. Just stopped in to say that all your photographs are positively beautiful, made especially so by the way you’ve laid them out together on your blog. I love the tones, the mood, the warmth and authenticity.. a little bit of longing.. and feeling the every day very deeply
