. . . . . . . .
hi.
some photos from my weekend … it was so fun to have friends visiting, although it’s funny to “show” them around london since i’m so new here, myself.
as you can see, we spent lots of time exploring pubs, eating and drinking (are you surprised??) … we had to stay out of the rain somehow!
tomorrow, i’ll show you some photos from a very special meal that we had … i’m still dreaming about it.
until then, cheers.

My heart swells when I think of London and these incredible photos make me green with envy. There is something exceptional about the light in that city and you capture it flawlessly.

Beautiful photos! I love the one of the candles.
I’m with tara, it would be so nice to explore these spots. it looks a fine, fine weekend.
(especially love the wood trim on that big window with the violet light nearby and, of course, the cakes.)
Lovely photos. The cafe with the wallpaper looks so cute.
this whole series is so good, but that picture looking in with those turquoise chairs…awesome!
Hey Brian–where were each of these taken? That cafe at the beginning, and the “Everything” pub look like places I would like to visit!
I do think you would love the pub Betsey Trotwood off of Farringdon Rd. (http://www.thebetsey.com/). When I studied in London, this was a block from my flat and it was a favorite spot. You + your camera + Betsey would create some wonderful things. I’m sure of this.
Let me know if you go. So glad I stumbled upon this site, as I’m loving living vicariously through you and your photos.
That last photo makes me miss London so much. I love the cosy pubs there.
Bonjour! I’m a new reader of your amazing blog.
