sunny sunday

March 8, 2010

…………….

a sunday that was full of sunshine.  i stopped by a new coffee joint on exmouth market for a cup. it was delicious — i took home a bag of their ethiopan yirgacheffe, roasted on-site, to enjoy all week long.   in fact, i think i’ll be enjoying the after-effects of a wonderful weekend this entire week.  loads of good stuff.

and speaking of good stuff, 2 things on my mind today:
+ this lemon curd from nigel slater (i made a batch yesterday and then promptly ate it directly out of the jar with a spoon last night.  it is tart/sweet and very addictive)
+ a new pair of shoes for spring, and i’m thinking about investing in something from the brilliant yuketen line

enjoy your day.

That place looks so fun! If you come across some Ethiopian Harrar get it! The best coffee, and it smells like blueberries!

Looks like spring on that island. Spring shoes make me to want to search all the melt spots on the streets.
