ABZ

March 25, 2010

. . . . . . . . .

i picked up this book a couple of months ago, and i’ve been meaning to share it here ever since. it’s called ABZ: More Alphabets and Other Signs, edited by julian rothenstein and mel gooding. it’s a quirky and interesting assortment of visuals and designs. per the introduction, “the focus of this book, though not exclusively so, is on those alphabets, designs and diverse printed materials of the modern era that embody the optimistic modernist spirit of the early and mid-twentieth century.” i am endlessly fascinated by the various materials compiled here and i thought you might like it, too.

see you tomorrow for some friday flickr favorites! a good day to you.
