. . . . . . . .

some fun photos for the end of the week.

last night, a friend and i went to see balmorhea play here in london.  this austin, texas-based group makes soaring, atmospheric music and i recommend checking them out.  their new CD kept me company through some late nights at the office this week.  i also had the pleasure to meet michael, their guitarist, after enjoying his blog for a while now.  a good guy and a very talented group.  they are currently on tour and heading up to scotland next.  great photos of their travels here.

it’s friday! i need a weekend badly.  enjoy yours.

Balmorhea is gorgeous. My brother’s moving to Austin, so I’ll tell him to check them out. Nice to see all your recent photos. Sounds like life’s a bit less hectic now. I love the late light too. Such a simple, effective mood lifter. Let’s catch up soon x

hey! i went to see Balmorhea too, but in Paris!
they were amazing, I took two videos, they’re really really bad quality but the sound is rather cool when you know what kind of crappy video camera I took them with.
