NOLA, part 1

May 11, 2010

. . . . . . . . . .

hi there.

i am back in london after a short trip to new orleans, louisiana for my good friends’ wedding. we had such a fun time — i’ve been to NOLA before but the last time i visited was almost 7 years ago, i think. it’s a city that feels like no other to me. my friend anna grew up in new orleans so i’ve always had the best tour guide to find the good spots. of course, we stopped by cafe du monde for beignets and coffee (this place is always full of tourists for good reason – mmm).  lots of walking, laughing, catching up, eating and drinking. when i recover from this jet lag i’ll tell you more.

in the meantime, pre-orders are available for the Lines & Shapes book! click HERE to see preview images from the book, learn more about what will be included, and to pre-order your copy at a discount for a limited time. you don’t want to miss this one — maria has put together something really special.

more photos from NOLA soon. until then, enjoy the day.

That’s so funny–I was in NOLA this past weekend too, and I walked around the French Quarter with my camera and for inspiration I actually thought, “What shots would Brian take?” Um, my shots look nothing like yours! Well, I have the beignet shot, but that’s it…Oh, and I got an old car shot, which I know you like :-)
