NOLA, part 2

May 12, 2010

. . . . . . . .

hi.

not much to say here today, except that i looked through the images at baron wells this morning and i can’t get them out of my head.  so, so inspiring.  i’ve been searching for something to kick me in the pants, photographically-speaking.  this is it.  (be sure to check out the diptychs on the main page, and then click through to “gallery” at the top right).

rob kulisek photographed some of the shots, see those in one set here.  damn.

good day to you.

you know what i love best about all of your NOLA shots? the haze. i know i’m the only person on earth who actually likes humidity. it’s true. and i love that it’s in your shots too.

i was thinking the same thing, hannah. you can see the heat and the haze permeating through the photos! i love it in photos, but in real life, not so much. lol
