hallo berlin, 3

June 3, 2010

. . . . . . .

it is a gorgeous summer day in london today, so i thought i’d post some photos taken outside of berlin in the country. on sunday, it looked like it was going to rain and many shops in berlin are closed on sundays. so we decided to pack our cameras and take the train to potsdam to visit Sanssouci, the former palace of Frederick the Great. soon after arriving, the rain ended, the sun came out, and we spent the day exploring the extensive grounds and buildings on the property.

as you can see above, i found it all incredibly inspiring. the light, the colors, the greens everywhere, the lines and architecture of the buildings. it was really stunning.

(and you can see a polaroid view here)

enjoy your day.
