. . . . . . . .
top photo is mine.
next four images are the work of ty williams.
the last four photos are mine.

. . . . . . . .

i’ve been really enjoying the clever artwork of ty williams lately, given my obsession with the ocean and the summer. i first heard of ty through baron wells, and i’m glad that i found his stuff. his paintings and mixed media have strong connections to the east coast american summer, and all of his art is witty and sharp.  they are playful images, but i really can’t get many of these pieces out of mind.  i find myself going back to his artwork over and over again.

check out more of ty’s work at his blog and his portfolio.

also, i received a number of emails and comments about the first image from yesterday’s holga post.  that photo was a double exposure that i made on purpose, and i’m really psyched about the result.  i’m glad you like it, too.

oh and don’t worry … more photos from the ocean to come tomorrow.  see you then.

Dude. I want to take your photographs and make a nautical wall out of them. I’ve never wanted to take someone else’s photograph and put it on my wall. Ever.
