. . . . . . . . . . .
some news to share with you today. i am very excited to be included in the newest book from lines & shapes –
curated by lena corwin
to be released on october 11, 2010
a description from the website:
“brooklyn, old and new, is known for its diversity and creative spirit. brooklyn diary takes a look inside the daily lives of twenty-one brooklyn artists, documented by ten different photographers. a place that is both dirty and beautiful, artistic endeavors are abundant in brooklyn – from fashion and photography to organic gardens and distinctive food. the book is divided into categories of walk, eat, shop, home, and studio, and the artists profiled have shared their favorite (often lesser known) brooklyn spots, making it a perfect, unconventional guide book for those planning to visit.”
a preview, more details on pre-ordering your copy at a discount, and a list of all of the contributing artists can be found on the lines & shapes website HERE.
also, lena posted more preview images from the book on her blog, you can see them HERE.
this is going to be a wonderful book, and i’m honored to be included. working on my contribution was a great way to reconnect with the things i miss about living in brooklyn while i’m in london.
i’ll tell you more about my contribution closer to the release date.
have a great day.
