The 1010 Project

October 19, 2010

(a selection of my 10 photographs)

. . . . . . .

“10 photographers. 10 photos each. All taken on 10/10/10.
A single day represented in 100 photographs.
No special occasion, no big event, just the essence of daily life captured through ten lenses”

. . . . . .

i am honored to be a part of The 1010 Project, which has just gone live.

on october 10, i took 10 photos. so did 9 other photographers around the world.

i had my camera with me all day long, shooting photos of things here and there in an attempt to capture an ordinary day of my life. paired with the stunning photographs from the other participants around the world, the result is striking.

i really enjoyed taking part, and a huge thanks to vic for inviting me and putting together such a wonderful project.

the 10 photographers:

Jacinta Moore /// Melbourne, Australia
Ebony Bizys /// Tokyo, Japan
Michelle Gow /// Stellenbosch, South Africa
Pia Jane Bijkerk /// Amsterdam, Netherlands
Hilda Grahnat /// Malmo, Sweden via Berlin, Germany
Anabela Carneiro /// Toronto, Canada via Algarve, Portugal
Brian W. Ferry /// London, United Kingdom
Kris Atomic /// Brighton, United Kingdom
Victoria Hannan /// London, United Kingdom
Kate Miss /// New York City, United States

see the entire 1010 Project gallery HERE.

i hope you enjoy it.

(and i must give credit where it’s due … many of the photos i shot on 10/10 were taken at charlotte‘s beautiful flat. thanks, c.)
