. . . . . . .
i’m peach-obsessed lately.
have you also been obsessed by the delicious flat peaches? so amazing!
i totally understand!
i love peaches!
fuzzy, juicy, soft, lovely peaches!
Really like that first one. Light’s great.
Fantastic blog, i spent a good time visiting it.
these shots are brilliant, ferry, both of them.
also: do i spy some jam in the background?!
never tried the Bellini cocktail? just peach puree and Prosecco wine
Tequila Peaches (for pie or galette)
1 ½ tablespoons tequila
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
½ teaspoon lime zest
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 large peaches, ripe and fragrant
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoons cream
Combine the tequila, lime juice and cornstarch in a small bowl. Slice the peaches about ¼” thin. In a medium bowl add the peaches and the juice/cornstarch mixture. Using your hands, toss to combine.
PS The cream and sugar at the end are for whatever crust you use – just brush on and go!
me too; actually nectarines. :) (oh summer,)
oh my god, that makes two of us. my dinner has been peaches and i’m serisouly considering of getting another. i swear, i don’t know what’s going on but hey, at least it’s healthy!
Nice. Can think of worse things to be…
You’ve captured the peach to perfection!
Us too. They are very good these year. My 5 year old son can’t get enough of them.
Lovely photos as usual. I recognize the mug.
Peaches galore! And I must say, the second shot is especially pleasing–with the focus on the board, and then with that yellow knife playing off the yellow of the lemon in the background. Just pure delight.
I understand… :)
(those are beautiful !)
They are sooo freaking good – and then your photos multiply that by 20!!!
the first photo is lovely.
Yum. While i was on holiday – we cut some peaches in half, removed the pit, barbecued the peaces for just a few minutes then covered them in Greek yogurt a drizzle of honey and chopped roasted almonds. Divine!
i’ve been dreaming of peach ice cream. it used to not feel like summer in the south without it. i do have a friend who has a peach tree in VT. i’m hoping for a little stash.
I’m so jealous you have peaces already. In Ontario, Canada we get some of the best peaches from the Niagara Escarpment. I’m dreaming of peach juice dripping down my chin. I notice in your photo background, a lovely French Press. I can’t help myself…..whenever I see a naked Bodum Coffee press, I want to cover it. I’m jealous. You live where it’s green.
