Always the Best

September 8, 2011

. . . . . . . . . .

A Sunday night supper in mid-August with my friend Ben before he moved north – we went to St. John Bread & Wine, which is always one of my favorites.

And on the walk home after dinner, a London moment & a late-summer sky worthy of a photo.

Hah, I remember thinking, shit you just photographed me pouring my beer in a most amateur fashion. Great meal though (not quite as gluttonous as our trip to Bull & Last…but close)!

I recently discovered another lovely London blog called Spitalfields Life. There are several profiles of the people who work at St John — there is one, for example, of the man who makes the bread:>
